Rambam - Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon

Torah teaches two paths in general for serving Hashem: one for the Jewish people and one for non-Jews / Gentiles. Each path presents its part of mankind with an opportunity for meaningful life, higher purpose and personal connection with Hashem. Torah was given to the Jewish people through Moses our teacher, along with an extraordinary mission and powerful role.  In the words of Tosefos Yom Tov on Pirkei Avos 3:14,

[Rabbi Akiva used to say,] “Beloved is man, for he was created in the image [of G-d]...”
Rabbi Akiva intended to straighten the ways of all Gentiles, as commanded by Moses according to the words of Rambam. [Laws of Kings 8:10 – “to compel all the inhabitants of the world accept the commandments given to Noah’s descendants.”]
...this should be done through verbal persuasion, to draw their hearts to [follow] the will of their Creator...

Thus, as the safe-keepers of Torah, observant Jewish people are obligated to teach non-Jews about what G-d commands for them. However, it was not until over a generation after WWII that Jews finally had opportunities to safely disseminate these teachings. It was then that the Lubavitcher Rebbe urgently instructed that this mission is an integral part of bringing the Geulah.

About the course

This course is for Rabbonim and Shluchim who want to correctly understand and advance Torah’s message for the B’nai Noach. Our sages and poskim codified righteous behaviors that are logically expected for ethical Gentiles, upon which a civilized society depends. We cover this, along with insights on helping Gentiles to guide their lives and relationships from an objectively moral perspective. These require understanding of Emunas Hashem for Gentiles and the core principles of faith that they need and should accept.

The course is very practical and deals with halachic issues that Jews encounter with B’nai Noach in gatherings and synagogues. It specifically provides guidance for Shluchim and community rabbis who are interacting with Gentile individuals and their local general population. To maintain kiddush Hashem, they need to be prepared to correctly deal with many different circumstances and types of people. Our content eases that task, providing confidence that comes with knowledge, resources and advice for situations that now commonly arise.

The video lessons by our instructors are arranged in eight sections, and are supplemented with the important books we’ve included. The instructors are recognized halachic experts in this field, and the relevant sources are found in the materials provided. Registered students will be able to ask questions and further deepen their halachic and practical knowledge of all the topics.
